Your quilt shop since 2009

Use strips, pieced borders, machine applique and set in seams to make a wonderful Lone Star quilt. Lots of cool things to be learned in this class.

Cost: $ 25.00
Learn the joy of easy hand applique in a sit and stitch setting. What is that? It means you come to class and stitch; at the same time you can make new friends and have fun too. All it takes is a layer cake of wool from Marcus Brothers, the pattern and the will to sit and stitch. Along the way you will learn embroidery stitches, how to work with wool and set up for hand applique. The class is limited to 12.

Cost: $ 25.00

Hours at The Cotton Patch

 Our normal business hours are:
Monday-Saturday, 10am to 5pm.

We are closed on Sundays.

We are a local, family-owned quilt store catering to your quilting needs! We carry a wide variety of high quality quilting fabrics  in a well-rounded palette for every quilter, with new pieces coming in weekly.  Whether you're looking for traditional or contemporary, or whether you're a seasoned quilter or just starting out, we truly have something for everyone!

Our store is full of natural light (even when it's gray outside), so it's nice and light inside so colors are less skewed by artifical lighting.  Parking is always free and available, and our store layout
is wheelchair and walker friendly.  We have a classroom equipped with built-in tables and a cozy fireplace to stitch by during our rainy Oregon winters.

New samples and projects are always coming in and our store is always changing with the seasons.
The atmosphere here is happy and bright, and our staff is knowledgable, friendly and always willing to help with whatever question or fabric quandry that you bring to us.

We love to visit and see what you're working on.

We'll see you soon!

Threads of Wisdom

If you don't have a pair of quilting gloves, a clean (preferably unused) pair of gardening gloves is a great alternative.  The rubberized grip surface covers the entire palm surface of the hand which helps hold on to those quilts while you're trying to finish them up.

2017 Row x Row start June 1st.

This year Row x Row's theme is On the Go.  We decided to do something a little different.  Ours is Maple whirly gigs seeds in the wind.  our kits will be $15.  That is all the fabrics for the row.

The Cotton Patch punch cards are now going Digital

We have decided to go digital with our punch cards.  No more lost cards or points.  Stop by and get into the system.   It is easy and it just takes your phone number.  Don't worry we will add your existing punches to the system.  You will always know when you are close to $25. off or if you have that reward waiting.  It is really cool.

Backing Day

What is Backing Day?
You may bring in as many finished quilt tops as you like (borders on please) and do a little show and tell.  Then you can pick any fabric you like for your backing, even clearance, at 25% off.

Backing Day is held on the 30th of every month except February when it is held on the last day.  If the 30th of the month falls on a Sunday when we are closed, we will use Saturday, the 29th of the month for Backing Day.

BACKING DAY for August is Wednesday August, 30th
